Alone Show Season 3

Alone Show Season 3 Survival Items List

The Alone Show Season 3 premiere starts December 8, 2016, in Patagonia, South America. The list of 10 survival items each contestant brought on the Show is listed below. The main list of survival items to choose from is the same from the first two Seasons when Alone was filmed on Vancouver Island. Not surprisingly, All ten contestants chose several of the same survival items for Patagonia Island. For instance, all the Season 3 Contestants brought a sleeping bag, axe, cooking pot, fishing gear, knife, ferrous rod and emergency food rations. Surprisingly, only two outdoor survivalists chose to bring a tarp for shelter, wind, water collecting, etc. But all in all, it looks like all (most) of the contestants on Alone Season 3 chose wisely on the 10 survival items they’re bringing to the Show.

But what list of items did they have to choose from? I feel sure they were restricted to certain items, sizes, etc.

      Sandy Okole,
I was wondering the same thing and just completed the entire list of survival items a few days ago.

(I’ll add this to the article above)

Each contestant chooses 10 items from the 40 survival items on the master list.

This does not include, however, the “other list” of survival items “All Contestants” also get issued above-and-beyond the 10 items everyone always talks about.

Which contestants tapped out? We haven’t seen Megan for two weeks now and this week’s show featured Callie, Dave, Greg, Dan and Carleigh, which leaves one more contestant.

Donna, Jim was the first to tap out. 2nd. Britt 3rd. Zach Gault (age 22) 4th. Dan … i ‘think’ these are in order. Remaining contestants left before the show aired Jan 19, 2017 … Callie, Carleigh, Dave, Fowler, Greg, & Megan. It seems the tap out contestants for Season 3 are ancient chinese secrets online! Please correct if contestant names (tapping or remaining) are incorrect OR if i have listed out of order. Thank you.

The fact that all of them chose a ration is crazy to me. I spent 6 months in the wilderness with my partner and we brought 1250 calories per person per day. Five pounds of flour amount to 8,255 calories, that won’t give you any advantage. The daily recommended intake of calories per day is 2000. Unless the rations were enough to survive solely on them for 14 days (28,000 cal), I would bring something more useful. If you really want to bring rations, fatten up before the show instead. Fat has 3500 calories per pound. I think there are many mistakes in their gear choices. I expand my thought on their gear choices in the article http://rewildsurvive.com/the-10-gear-mistakes-of-alone-contestants-and-the-10-items-you-should-bring/
